Chapter eight of Loyalty Fallen: The Desert Crossing has been uploaded, and you can read it here. In this chapter, Trista tells Illian her story, and Cal finds himself in unexpected danger when General Valen and an assassin come looking for Ren.

I wasn’t able to upload last week between getting ready for the holidays and having some other writing projects due by the end of the year, but I was able to submit a short story to two different contests. The short story is called the Memory Mortician, and once I’ve given up on submitting it various places, I may share it here.

I’ve also been working on editing Ashbranded, which has turned out to be a much greater undertaking than I ever anticipated. Hopefully one day you’ll be able to read it.
